The Side Quest series takes me back to playing with image transfers of photos I’ve taken while travelling or just walking around doing nothing. Always drawn to the state of disrepair, restoration, and good clean lines and repetitve pattern mixed with the filth of urban spaces, these pieces were intended to be small and accessible. As I don’t intend to visit the US in the next few years, it also let me revisit some of my photos from past adventures with a nostalgic lens AND A BIG SIGH. *Some photos are local to downtown Victoria, BC.
